![]() Caught boat to Argegno and went up on cable car - very cheap and looked good for walks but dashed down as a thunder storm brewing (worried the cable car might close!). Hiked from Mennagio into the national park behind the town (route 4a) - this was fantastic - splashed about in the river. ![]() Did a trip to Bellagio (swam at Pescalla in amongst the boats in the harbour). Got off at Varenna and got the boat to Menaggio where we stayed for 5 nights. The next day we set off for Menaggio - around 25 euros for 5 of us on the train - very easy - around 2.5 hours - not need to book. We bought the ticket that included the funiculars (about 3 euros) so went up on those in the evening which was great. So we flew into Bergamo around 6pm and caught the shuttle bus to the old town where we stayed the night.
