Clevo currently has offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany & China. (although you will see much higher pricing with these companies for the same machine Xotic PC sells). While the Clevo brand name is perhaps not widely known, their products are re-branded and sold by Companies such as Alienware/Dell, Falcon Northwest, Hypersonic and VooDoo PC (HP). Some accomplishments Clevo has achieved are:Ģ004 - Worlds 1st Intel® Dual Core NotebookĢ005 - Words 1st AMD® X2 Dual Core NotebookĢ006 - Worlds 1st 19" Notebook with SLi TechnolgoyĢ007 - Words 1st Intel® Quad Core Notebook with SLi Technology There are many companies on the market today that pick up the Clevo line due to their unique feature set and the outstanding performance per dollar you get from their machines. Clevo was established in 1983 and is based in Taipei, Taiwan. etc.Ĭlevo, makes some of the highest performance machines on the market today. If you want the exact same hardware, but without the flashy paint, look into, , LPC-Digital, Mythlogic, Power Notebooks. I'm not sure about their desktops, but I suspect they offer the same things say, XoticPC does.Īs for laptops, Falcon Northwest is a boutique reseller of Clevo/Sager laptops for sure. Set aside a saturday afternoon, and set up your own machine. At minimum wage, that's around 70 hours of work saved. You dont have more time to dedicate to the build? Spend 75% as much, and get an equally powerful computer (compared to the FalconNW). Do you have a friend who can help you? I think I speak for all techys when I say that, while we hate fixing your computers when they break, we LOVE putting them together and getting them going. Want an extra-large CPU cooler? Go for it. You'll get twice the power for your money. It takes only a couple hours to get up and running. At prices at which you are willing to spend, I almost get disgusted when people refuse to build their own computer. If you have $2000 to spend, and dont mind getting less power for your money, then go for it. G4 is bought and sold by advertisers, and their opinion could be considered "what's popular and hot" at best and "who will give us the most money" at worst.Ģ) FalconNW makes extremely high quality computers at even more extreme prices.
